Mozilla Firefox 2.0

Posted 2006-11-23 22:41:05

I just downloaded Mozilla Firefox 2.0.

Well, so far, its a big improvement. The memory leak appears to have been fixed (or dramatically decreased), so that's been a big improvement. And the software runs much faster.

The downside is I lost an extension or two in the switch, but a friend at work has pointed me towards some replacements.

But What About The Martinis?

Posted 2006-11-16 08:19:33

According to an AP article, real life members of Britain's MI6 spy agency aren't exactly what they would seem in the 007 films - surprise!

While some of it may be relatively true (eg. "Q" scientists making gadgets), things like the "license to kill" are said to be a myth. Well, that takes the fun out of it, doesn't it?

But are the martinis shaken, not stirred? And what about those women and their wild names?

I may go check out the new Bond film. I wasn't much of a Brosnan fan in the films, and Daniel Craig looks like he will probably be a different style of Bond (a good thing). He's reportedly the best Bond since Connery - I must say that I always enjoyed Roger Moore in the films. Shouldn't everyone have their own style on the role?

Where does the time go?

Posted 2006-11-07 07:56:49

The past few months have been extremely busy it seems. Its hard to find where the time has gone - work's been exremely busy, been doing some gigs, and all of a sudden, my "to-do" pile has grown quite high.

Not sure I have a point here, just rambling. Rambling over.

Russian Vodka gives us more incentive to just drink beer.
