A Musical Weekend

Had a very busy and musical weekend. 3 gigs and a couple rehearsals seemed to take up most of the weekend, but was definitely enjoyable.

I had rock gigs on both Friday and Saturday night with the Brewski Boys. Sandwiched inbetween was a rehearsal with Bonny Morgan on Saturday afternoon.

By the time Sunday rolled around, I needed to catch my breath a bit, then headed out to work on some song arrangements with Cheryl Beatty. From there, it was back home to grab some grub before heading to Happy's for hosting the open jam with the Happy Bastards.

Have next weekend off at the moment, may try to get out of town for a day to relax a bit. We'll see how the week plays out.

Time To Get Pumped!

So, I joined a gym late last week, and have been good about going every lunch hour this week.

It's been going well so far - the guys who I go with have been good instructors, and while I'm feeling the workout, I'm not hurting, which is the most important thing.

I'm probably going to branch off into some more cardio work after I get better fell for their routine (which is more focused on upper body work). Hopefully I'll have some good news to post on here in a couple months.
